Sunset stripes

I went to the beach today, and boy was my timing lucky! I got to see a lovely sunset in progress, painting stripes of orange and pink all over the sky.

I got shutter happy and took 42 pictures in about 10 minutes, but I'll spare you and only post my favorite one here.



Hope you can take the time to watch sunsets, wherever you are...

funny how finicky nature can be....we had that amazing pair of sunsets in may, had a pretty good one on thurs on the ferry, and ok ones the rest of the time....you really need the clouds to make a truly awesome sunset...specially just before or just after a storm (funny how life mimics nature......)you seem to appreciate them so much more after the not so good ones

Wow, not so anonymous! That was a really deep thought for so early in the morning. :)

Seriously, we're looking forward to the next time you guys can visit, and hopefully catch a great sunset on the Windfall that time!
