One more week until our trip to Ocracoke! How has the weather been there and do you know what it will be like next week? Also we always eat at Howard's Pub when we come, and it is delicious, but we'd love to try another restaurant. Any suggestions?
Hi Beachbum ~ the weather recently has been typical spring, which means changeable. It was in the 70s one day and then in the 40s a couple of days later! You can always check the weather online (I use intellicast.com - they have a 10 day forecast feature), but of course it's just the meteorologist's best guess at this point!
My personal favorite restaurants on the island are Cafe Atlantic and The Flying Melon. Both are excellent! Other favorites are Jason's and The Back Porch, but neither will be open next week (do keep them in mind for a future trip, though!)
