It has been very cold here recently, turning the puddles from the rainy weekend into ice. We didn't get any (well, not much) of the eastern seaboard snowstorm which affected so much of the rest of the state, and several surrounding states as well. (There were a few brief moments of sleety, closer to hail than snow, but nothing that stuck.)
According to the weather forecasters on two different channels tonight, the cold snap is about to come to an end. (Yes, I was so surprised at the prediction I heard that I checked another channel to see if they were saying the same thing.) Are you ready for this? The temperatures this weekend are expected to be in the upper 70s! Talk about a great time for a quick trip to the beach! (The water will, of course, still be MUCH too cold for swimming.)
I'm looking forward to a little warm air and sunshine. Hope you get to enjoy some, too, wherever you are...
