Streeeeeeeeetch

There's a REALLLLLLLY LOOOOOOONG limo driving around the island this evening. Full of teenagers. It's prom night, and they are dressed to the nines and having a ball.

I tried to take a picture of the limo, so you could see how long the dang thing is (really, I have never seen a stretch limo that long before!), but my camera was not cooperating because it was dark. Sorry 'bout that...

I will be visiting in a few weeks, but for only a few days. I was wondering if you might have any tips or suggestions about what you might do if you only had a few days to visit. I've been before, and I've reviewed travel guides and such, but I thought you would likely provide better information. And out of curiosity, has a lot changed in the past year? Any information would be helpful and extremely appreciated. I certainly understand if you can't find the time, though. Do take care. And thank you so very much. :)

Hi Kavita ~ thanks for the tip on the thiswillhurtme blog - I loved both the pictures and the captions, and especially the series of thoughts on the Pros and Cons of toddlers. Hilarious and thought provoking all at the same time - that's a good blog!

Hi Anonymous ~

That's a question that's a bit tough to answer, because there's so much to do on Ocracoke (yes, really!), and it depends on what type of thing you enjoy doing.

I think this is a great question, though, and one that others might like to see the answer to. Right now (at the beginning of the season) is a good time to answer a question like this, too, so I'll post a blog with some thoughts on it for anyone who might be interested.
