Birthday party!

We went to Lachlan's birthday party this evening, along with many, many other people. Amy had planned several great activities for the kids which they all enjoyed (they enjoyed the outdoor ones in between rain showers). There was plenty of terrific food, and a good time was had by all (including the adults). Here are a few pictures.


The kids took turns on Lachlan's rope swing. I think he had the most fun of all of them!


A line of kids followed Amy toward the fairy trail, to find out about dinosaur eggs.


Amy showed them a sample dinosaur egg, and then turned them loose to find theirs.

I just had to throw in this cute picture of Connor. He loved the gypsy wagon!


The dinosaur cake was cute and delicious. The big scary marshmallow teeth were a hit!


Jen was very serious about getting a good photo of the cake!


Amy lit the candles - 6 for Philip and a 5 for Lachlan (they share a birthday; Philip turned 65 and Lachlan turned 5).
