Eating options
My sister and I got all dressed up tonight for our plans to eat dinner together at the Back Porch, which was supposed to be open for the first part of this week. No such luck. As we rounded the curve on Back Road, we saw immediately that the restaurant was completely dark (apparently they changed their plans). So we went to Creekside, as it was the only open place, and will be for the next few days. Well, at least if you're wondering about lunch or dinner options at the moment on the island, it's a simple choice: Creekside, or Creekside.

Is Howard's closed?
Yep, Howard's Pub sure is closed. They had originally planned to stay open until the end of December, then be closed for January and February, but they changed their plans (lots of that going around, apparently) and closed around 12/19 if I remember correctly. They will not reopen until March (I don't have an exact date yet).
What about Dajio?
Dajio was closed for the week of Christmas but they are now open again. My comment that the options were Creekside or Creekside applied to the date of that post (and the day before and few days after), but things are better now. Jason's has also reopened. So now your choices are Jason's, Dajio, and Creekside.
